Mother Rachel Montgomery
October 4, 1914 - March 17, 2010
Mother R. Montgomery - the eldest member of GVM who was a true inspiration to all that met. Mother Montgomery always gave encouraging words and make sure that she gave God all that she had when she was in service. On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, the Lord called Mother Montgomery from labor into eternal rest. She always said that when the Lord called her, she would be ready to go. We will continue to cherish the memories of our dear mother. We'll always remember her shouting across the front of the church in her high heels. She would always say "I'm gonna run on and see what the end is going to be". May her soul rest in the comfort of Jesus Christ as her memories will rest in our hearts.
